What We Believe
1. We believe the Bible to be the fully inspired and only authoritative Word of God (inerrant in the original languages).
(II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:21; Hebrews 4:12; John 20:31)
2. We believe there is only one true God, eternally existing, and revealed in three persons---The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 23:19; John 17; I Corinthians 13:14; I Peter 1:2)
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ---- His virgin birth; His sinless life; His miraculous ministry;
His vicarious death; His bodily resurrection from the dead; His ascension to the Father's right hand; His present
priesthood; His personal and imminent return.
(Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25; Hebrews 4:14; Hebrews 8:1; Acts 1:11; Titus 2:13)
4. We believe that man was originally created innocent, and in the image of God, but man sinned, and thereby brought upon
himself and all his posterity, both physical and spiritual death, which results in eternal separation from the presence of
God. (Genesis 1:27; I Corinthians 11:7; Romans 5)
5. We believe that the salvation of lost and sinful man comes only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit, and is a gift of
God, in response to man’s faith in the finished work of redemption accomplished by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for
the sins of the world. (John 1:12; John 3:3-7; John 3:16; John 5:24; Romans 10: 9; II Corinthians 5:17, 21)
6. We believe in the personality, power and present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to
live a godly life. (Acts 4:31; Acts 5:32; Romans 8:1-16; I Corinthians 6:19; Galatians 5:22-23)
7. We believe in the imminent, personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ, to receive His bride (The Church), and to establish
His Kingdom in power, righteousness, and great glory.
(Matthew 24 & 25; John 14; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20)
8. We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost---the saved to everlasting blessedness, and the lost to
everlasting punishment. (John 5:28-29; Luke 16:19-31; I Corinthians 15: Revelation 20:11)
9. We believe that all who have been born of the Holy Spirit through faith in the atoning work of our Lord Jesus Christ, are
spiritually united in one body (the Church), the Bride of Christ.
(Romans 12:5; I Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 2:8-9; Ephesians 4:4; Colossians 1:24)
10. We believe the Church is has been commissioned to encourage genuine worship of God, preserve the Word of Truth,
provide for the edification of believers, nurture and instruct the new-born believer, and to evangelize the lost by every
biblical means available.
(Psalms 95:6; John 4:24; Luke 24:52-53; Hebrews 10:25;
Ephesians 4:11-16; Hebrews 6:1; II Peter 1:5-6; Matthew 28:19-20)
